RAW::

 Today's Random Act of Wisdom is brought to you by Don Miguel Ruiz and the daily Ruiz Inspirations I receive in my inbox:

The best moments of your life are when
you are being your authentic self.
When you are in your creation and doing what you love to do,
you become what you really are again.
You are not thinking in that moment;
you are expressing.
Your emotions are coming out,
and you feel great.

How does this relate to you today?
Are you doing what you love to do?
Are you expressing your true self?
What would make you feel great today?
Enjoy the day!

Erin, thanks for introducing me to two great inspirational forces!

This relates to me today as I'm trying to maintain focus and complete a number of jewelry projects before a show this coming weekend. I'm so easily distracted, and too often put one half finished thing down to dabble with another. Yes, it's all good and I'm really enjoying it, but arriving at my show with a dozen half completed pieces is not an option!

If I finished today with all (or even 80%) of the things on my list completed I will feel wonderful.

No - I am definitely not doing what I love today. Driving along snow covered roads and shovelling 20 cm of new snow is not what I love to do. Hope your day is better than mine.
But I do like your new winter look and the Fluffy Stuff necklace!

I'm fooling around at work, and that's pretty much who I am. A slacker. And I feel great.

I'm definately NOT doing what I want today. And now the day is slipping away. But then there's always tomorrow.

I was able to be of support to DH today and that feels great! I have also been creative for 15 minutes (which is far better than nothing). But I do have to say that there are so many things I need or have to do that sometimes I forget those I want to do.
Thank you for this RAW.

I'm doing what I want to do today, and, yes, it feels very good. I love creativity, even when my muse deserts me. Muse is down today, so I am hoping for a better tomorrow. However, I am happy.

Hi Erin, I am lucky enough to be doing exactly what I want to be doing, and know I'm a lucky girl. Got lots of puppy kisses today, made some fun jewelry pieces and got together for a girlfriend walk in the sun. Pretty darn good day! But over all, we are so lucky when we can do what we love, if even for one day. Have another wonderful day tomorrow! Hugs, Riki

Erin,
I love don Miguel Ruiz...and didn't know he had this daily inspiration. I do now (thank YOU!!), and am signed up!

Moving more fully into that space of "true self", it's been a journey...and one that continues. It's also a journey that feels, today, to be most in alignment with who I truly am. And this all feels deeply good...

Erin, seeing you come from this place of your true self - which I feel that I can just sense in your writing, at times more strongly than others...that's a gift, too. It's a gift, because in your shining your amazing light out, it just gives others a deeper permission themselves to shine their light...

Keep shining, awesome friend...

Love these words, Erin. But NO, I did not do what I love to do today...except for an hour when I volunteered for lunch duty at the school. Nothing beats that smile on my kids' faces when they see that I'm there. My first grader said proudly to no one in particular, "That's MY MOM!" :-) I do love moments like that.

The word "authentic" really resonates with me. I'm getting ready to do what I love today ... I did it yesterday too ... but the idea of genuine thought and doing ... essential!

I think I need to frame this!
